This policy explains how Wang Fu Egypt (埃中王府 · وانغ فو) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use www.wangfuegypt.com or the Wang Fu Android app. It applies to users in Egypt and elsewhere.
Wang Fu Egypt, Cairo, Egypt, is the data controller. We follow Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and, for users in the EEA and the UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR.
We use Supabase to run accounts and sign-in and to store profiles and photos. With Google sign-in we receive only your name, email, profile photo and account ID; we never see your Google password or contacts. With phone sign-in, a one-time code is sent by SMS through the SMS provider connected to Supabase. Supabase data is stored in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland).
We use PostHog (servers in the United States) to measure and improve the site and app: page views, clicks and product events. Session recording is off, we do not send your phone number or email to PostHog, and we do not use this data for advertising or sell it. You can ask us to stop analytics linked to your account, or block us.i.posthog.com in your browser.
Tianle is the AI assistant inside Wang Fu. When you send a question, its text (and any file you attach) is sent to one of the AI model providers we work with to generate the reply, such as BytePlus, Google Gemini, Groq, Cloudflare and xAI; their servers may be outside Egypt. We keep a limited log of the question and a short excerpt of the reply with sensitive data masked, a masked IP address, and your account ID if you are signed in, for quality and safety. This log is not public. Do not enter passwords, bank details or sensitive health information in the chat. Tianle’s answers are for guidance only, and you can report any reply that is inappropriate.
We do not sell personal data.
We share data only with the service providers we need to run the platform: Supabase (accounts and storage), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics), Google (Google sign-in), the AI model providers behind Tianle, and the translation service when you ask for a translation. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WeChat or email, those services’ own policies apply.
You can ask to access, correct, receive a copy of, or delete your data, and you can object to analytics. To delete your account and its data, use the Delete account page, or write to wangfuacademy@gmail.com or WhatsApp +20 111 620 8881 from the account or number linked to you. We verify the request comes from you and complete it within 30 days. We may keep what the law requires or what is needed to prevent fraud. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
The service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete it if we learn of it.
We may update this policy; the date at the top will change. The full Chinese version is at 隐私政策.
