Customs clearance in Egypt for goods from China

Customs clearance in Egypt is handled by licensed brokers. Most problems start before shipping: inconsistent invoices, vague descriptions, or a shipment that was never pre-registered.

Advance Cargo Information (ACI)

Egypt requires shipments to be pre-registered through the Nafeza platform, with a reference number obtained before the goods leave China. The Chinese exporter must cooperate by registering and supplying data. Confirm this with your consignee and forwarder before booking.

How we help

We introduce licensed brokers and interpret between the broker, the Egyptian consignee and the Chinese factory. We do not collect duties or taxes.

Before the container is booked

Ask the supplier for draft invoice and packing list, check descriptions, HS codes with your broker, quantities and weights, and confirm the exporter has completed its part of the ACI process. A clear message in Chinese at this stage can save days at the port.
